Muddy Monster Comics recently unveiled a new comic called "Big Muddy Monster, A True Story of Murphysboro"
Local artists came together to tell the story of a possible monster sighted back in 1973.

Saturday during the festival you'll have the chance to meet the writer and one of the artists, to have your comic book signed at the shop.

"I really am looking forward to, and not just because it's my project and my thing, is just the fun that it's been to produce and interact with people. I think the weekend is just going to be a blast with a whole lot of that. Hearing some cool stories about people's own experiences or experience of their loved one or friends, I think that's going to be the highlight for me," says Mike Noe, Owner of the comic store.

Noe says with a large amount of pre-orders, he expects to sell out of the comic. He plans to print a second batch with a new comic cover.
